I think the CPU is fine. Unless if you're doing high-res video editing, streaming, or running some heavy-load programs, it'll handle anything you want to throw at it. And the case... well, I'd recommend the MasterCooler case I used in my other build, or if you have a little more money to spend, go for any NZXT cases. They've been my absolute favorites for aesthetics and cable management in my past experience. Just avoid the Bitfenix cases at all costs.
Maybe the factory messed up and Gigabyte accidentally put in a 1050 ti chip instead of a regular 1050
Now that I think of it, I completely agree with you. This is why I'm using a 2200G for my friend's build. Although it isn't the 2600 you mentioned, I know know that any second gen Ryzen CPU is capable of much more things than Intel's chips at the same price point.
That's wierd... does he play with shadows on? When I turn my shadows to medium or high, my fps dips faster than an insecure kid in the locker room. W/o shadows, I'm almost always at 135-145 fps... not sure what's going on.
Lol, I can't stand 720p. I play on 1080p for sure. The thing is, I have shadows completely off. Forgot to mention that in the description. But I can assure you guys that 140fps is pretty much average for my gameplay, just without those stupid shadows.
I have no idea my man but I don't see a point in lying about my build on this page, I'm being as honest as I can be. Sometimes when I'm in buildings with no one around, I hit 160-170 fps.
