Edabagu's Completed Build: The Edabagu

djdirka 1 point 27 months ago

where you maybe watching 1080p gameplay of battlefield 4? Also overclocking your CPU could help with GPU performance. Your fans on your GPU turn off sometimes because they do not get hot enough, as it uses less power when it doesnt need as much cooling. If thats the case when gaming, i recommend overlocking the GPU as well since it isnt taking much of a hit!

I guess I will try my luck with buying it. I saw a lot of reviews mention keys sticking for the blues but I really like it and that's the only place I can find it for that price

EdgartheGeek's Completed Build: Eins - First Gaming PC(sorta)

djdirka 1 point 30 months ago

Those Temps are about half of what mine were when running prime95. Skylake runs a bit hot so those are great. You can go up to 80-90° on prime95 and that's about where you should stop going any higher. As for the gpu, unless you want to play newer games with tons of eye candy, you don't need one. If it works good for you now then stay. When it falls behind a bit then you can get one if you want!

Ryzord18's Completed Build: My First Build in Progress(Black, Red & White)

djdirka 1 point 30 months ago

No real reason to upgrade your cpu or gpu yet! The CPU performs almost as well as the 6700K and unless you are doing hardcore editing and rendering whatnot, you wont notice that much. The GPU would only be worth the upgrade if you absolutely need the best of the best. Lets face it, the 1070 is great as it is, but it wont be able to handle 4K like the 1080 can. Its up to you on that one

yeah i just saw that board had bad reviews but i guess it is just opinionated.

Forum Topic "Best Black/White Z170 Motherboard under $150"

djdirka submitter 1 point 31 months ago

the placement of the sata ports wouldnt have been an issue for me, but i prefer quality over features, and many reviewers had bad experience with theirs. I might just stick with the Krait 3x then since I do like the color
