Great! Keep us updated
if you search youtube, you will see that their are still a ton of people rocking these first gen i7 processors. I agree that a new gpu would bring the rig up to speed.
A used rx 470 could be had for that price
I paid 20 and doubled my money lmao
Not a bad build! I love doing builds like these. Check out my not so lean 40 dollar goodwill pc build
Honestly a 75 dollar gpu upgrade and you would be good for a few more years
Where did you get the 970 and how much?
nicely done! I am super curious on the fx series of chips due to bot being into pc gaming when they were popular. I may build a cheap one just to see how it works.
Why that card?
Looks great! I did a build for a guy using the i5 2400 and gtx 750 sc and it handles light gaming great
Nice build. Should be able to handle 1080p low-med settings well enough. Nice 300 dollar system
Best of luck with the sale. Keep us posted when and if it sells.
I love it. I just did a dual core athlon build I wish i had kept longer to play around with.
Looks great! Interesting cpu
Nice build. Hows the bottleneck between the cpu gpu?
Not bad my man! Most of my 100-150 dollar builds are just prebuilt upgrades.
Thanks it was fun
nice budget build. I would suggest a more descriptive description and more photos!
nicely done! Check out my profile, I have several optiplex builds on my profile. Im currently working on a dell vostro i7 2600 build for myself
What most people dont realize is that the difference in performance between generations of i7s is fairly close but most older i7s still have some life left in them
Nice build 500 sounds fair
Looks great I did two builds in this case and loved each build. I just hated how dusty the case got
Outstanding! I just built simulator rig for a buddy for microsoft flight sim 2020.
Where does it not keep up anymore? Still a pretty decent gaming rig
Yeah i used a hard drive with linux on it and it was pretty snappy so I tried w10 and it was still pretty snappy
For 60 you could get a gtx 960, pretty easily, a gtx 750ti, if you watch closely you could score an rx 470 or 1050ti
is the cpu bottlenecking the gpu?
are you saying you are selling the rig for 130?
nice build. Id like to see pictures of the inside
a good 60 dollar used gpu from ebay would increase your gaming experience. if the rig works for you then do you!
not a bad rig. I built a Athlon 200ge rig for my parents paired with a rx 460 and handles all of their tasks with ease.
why the gt1030? for the listed price if that is what you paid you could have gotten a rx470 or gtx1060 used on ebay .
It was an ebay buy it now listing
Did you look like some of my other builds?
Depending on what you are looking for
Update: the system sold for 150 bucks today
Thank you! I try to be upfront with the path of the pcs i build. Pcs in this sub 200 price range i usually have a 600 series card to get them going and keep my prices low, as well as they will come back in a year or so for an upgrade!
The good thing is you can upgrade to a ryzen for next to nothing and get some great performance
I did! Was listed at 190 and i made an offer
I love it! glad to see that someone has a sense of fun!
Nice budget build
Nice way to save some parts. My first build was in this case.
Easy profit to be made there as well.
Looks great. Id consider a new mobo since the 320 chipset isnt overclockable
Very nice. These older i7s still put up a fight.
I got the exact case listed.
this is the kind of build I love to see. As mentioned, a cheap GPU upgrade and you could sell the rig for a few hundred bucks.
