Hey, during boot press DEL key or the F12 key, it should directly take you to the BIOS.

Hey, Thanks for the comment. Thank God, so far I did not have any problems with any of the updates or drivers.

My motherboard came shipped with BIOS version 1104 which did not provide an option to enable virtualization. Only after upgrading to the latest version, I was able to enable it and some other options too. So, I would say its vital for it be updated if its not.

You can try these steps and check if it resolves any driver issue if you have a build similar to mine.

-> Make sure you have the latest BIOS (version 2012 ). If not, You can download it from http://www.asus.com/in/Motherboards/MAXIMUS_VII_RANGER/HelpDesk_Download/ by selecting your OS type and clicking on BIOS. (I have Win 8.1 x64 on mine)

-> If possible try a clean install of the desired OS in your system after BIOS update.

-> Install chipset drivers(latest version in Asus website is Version 10.0.20).

-> Install latest LAN drivers from asus website(latest as of now is V19.1.51.0)

-> Install all available windows updates (important+recommend+optional updates)

-> Download Sata drivers, Audio, VGA drivers (V10.18.10.3910) and Audio drivers (latest 6.0.1.7326)

-> You you can download the Intel driver updater utility to check for other updates, you can download it from: http://www.intel.com/p/en_US/support/detect

Do restart PC after every driver installation when required as they are important.

-> If you are using an SSD, check the manufacturer website and check if you have the latest firmware installed.

-> At the end, run Windows update once again to be sure no updates are remaining.

-> If you are getting any BSOD due to bad drivers, you can run any blue screen viewer software to get the error code and find a solution.

The above is just a basic method, I use to troubleshoot driver problem. Do post your build components and the any error codes if you need any further help.

Hope this helps!

Have a great day.

Can the h80i be used as a rear exhaust fan?

How are the cpu and gpu temps with the h100i installed ? Is the cpu getting hot due to the graphics card pushing air towards the CPU?

Looks great. Have read mixed review of having a h100i in the s340. In your option which option would provide better cooling for the CPU:

  1. Corsair h100i in the front of case
  2. Corsair h90 in the front of case, with another 120mm/140mm front case fan
  3. Corsair h90 in the rear of the case with 2 120/140mm fans in the front of the case?

Thanks
