Having small bumps on your face is no joke, just go and find a dermatologist and find out what it is..
I have a past post here with pictures that will show you why you should get it checked, I am speaking from someone who had major surgery on his face because of a "small bump" I will post the link the topic here, but when you look at the pictures, i will tell you right now, they are not for the weak of heart...... I had a major hole cut out of my nose..
All that was from something that did not look like much more than a pimple
but WARNING IF YOU LOOK AT PICTURES... if you have a weak stomach.... you might not want to, i know i said it twice, but just want to make sure i get the point across...
just starting small and working my way up....
Teleportation, world wide.
It takes so long to travel....
In a way, that is what scares me, i dont have a wife to keep me in check....
This is a interesting topic for me, because it made me think, and now i wonder if i need to buy myself something totally meaningful to me but is something i could live without. I cant think of much right now, i guess i lived with very little for so long, the only things i get now, are things that have purpose, however at the same time, those things i have are much better than they used to be. I will get back to this topic if i can think of one single thing i have that is frivolous, if i cant find something, than i will have to make a trip on payday so i can add to this topic..... If you are wondering, no, i do not even have pictures on my walls because they do not serve a use to me, so that is how deep it honestly goes
I would love to see a good price drop on ram, i need ram bad
I decided when things are more calmed down, i am just going to build a custom desk. I have 6 foot desks, and 8 to 6 feet L shaped desks, but i need 7 feet. But right now i bought a 6 foot folding table from walmart and this is what it ended up looking like, not to bad.. 3 27 monitors and 1 43 inch 4k monitor..
the space between the 2 walls is right at 7 feet.
that sounds really nice, my office is 10 x 12 feet, but was able to put my big multi display, will have my server over see, and i even have the standard ugly office couch....
just to get a idea, i have 3 27 inch 1080 monitors, 1 43 inch tv (monitor above) sadly for right now it is sitting on a 6 foot long walmart desk. to my right i have my ugly office couch. near the back i have my trash can, coffee pot and paper shredder, and behind me is another desk. It is where i will have my server soon, and a headless unit. I am also sitting on a pretty nice serta (bought from walmart) executive chair.
Here is a picture, i know those wires look crazy right now, but i will fix that in the near future. yes i took this picture in the middle of writing this post if you can see it that clearly. yes, i am looking for a headphone hanger as well in case someone wants to ask if i plan on just leaving my headset here.. remember, the office has only been around for like 3 days.
Most of the time i am on a set schedule, and i work with overseas offices, so i have to be around for them. I have a few temp things set up, and i few things that will stay for a while, but for the most part i moved my office office, into my home office. so it kind of feels the same, however i did a few personal perks to make things work out better for me
All very good advice, i do plan on staying on a work schedule. I plan to get up every day, get dressed for work, and go to work. I think of it as just a shorter driver to work. Due to the nature of my job, i cant really work when i want, because i deal with overseas a lot, and i need to be around at the right time.
I do most all my communication through text, email whatsapp, even when i was in the office. so i rarely talk to people, and when i was at the office, i was there by myself 90 percent of the time (i liked it). It helped my production more than hurt it. As far as the IT stuff goes.... I am the IT, so all the backups, network, firewalls, will be handled because as you know, security comes natural to most in the IT field.
Thank you for your input.
All the well wishes in the world out to them, as they battle what i am sure will be a up hill battle.
yep, i just got my pcpp snuggie
Well, to let everyone know, after over 5 years of where i was at, in this really crappy trailer, i moved to a decent little house with a decent yard, thought about making a topic about it, but i did not really think there would be enough interest in it. But i am very excited about moving, but moving ends up costing a lot of money.
You caught me, what is really going on is i been karma farming, because i am getting ready for the revamp of the new karma store.
just trying to be helpful when i can, kind and respectful. also i have been here for over 4 years.
well you have to start somewhere, i had 11 at one point as well
this could be fun...
I am upvoting just for the name
Honestly, i think the question was legit, but the wording was based in sarcasm to get noticed a little quicker .
In other arenas this might be considered click bait, but kind of legit at the same time.
I think karma farming is more of a user generated term than a staff generated term. The staff cares more about karma manipulation than karma farming.
Philip even made a post about this on his thread
yeah, 10,000, my memory did not serve me well
Update 2: I will be taking my truck to the body shop on Monday. I will be getting a rental car when i do.
Lets all hope it is a good rental car.
the 1000 comment thread comes to mind....
when i felt and heard the hit, i thought it was going to be really bad. i seen the big dent on the other car and thought the same, than it took me a little bit to even find the damage...
honestly good idea, i really get that checked before i even take it to the bodyshop on Monday
I did double check the truck, and did find more damage today, i was going to check yesterday, but 1 hour after the wreck, it started raining, and i was not able to get a good look. Found damage on the front, minor but there, my tire and rim will more than likely have to be replaced. even had a piece of her car shoved between the tire and rim
UPDATE: i found more damage on my truck, not bad, but my rim is shot, did not notice how bad the rim was. but it even has a piece of her car wedges between the tire and rim
I have been accused of karma farming in the past, even know i have never once asked for anyone to give me upload. Maybe i am just nice.
In that case, and if it is a option, try to open your task manager and see where the drain is, i know it might be hard if you only have a single monitor. I run a multi display so i always use a app called rainmeter, and i love it.
I seen that a few times in the past, and seeing people like that pulling trailers really bother me.
I did not get a ticket, i was not at fault, but we will see how it works with insurance claims
Its funny you bring that up, for like the next couple hours, it felt like almost everyone was about to hit me. I was getting nerved every time someone came to a intersection quickly or i seen a abrupt lane change. But after a few hours, and the fact that it poured rain all day afterwards, i was broke myself of that for the most part. (funny thing is the weather was perfect during the wreck, than it poured rain all night afterwards.
In the guild i used to be in, we always blamed the hunter.. Poor guy did not even have to be online, we still blamed him...
Most of the time wow hits your CPU hardest, but however (yes there is a however) What kind of monitor are you running, 1080, 1440, 4k, what is your refresh rate. So lets say you happen to have a MSI 1440p, 144hz monitors, and that mage is laying down some AOE, That death knight is going crazy with his death and decay and that hunter is burning up from standing in fire or whatever is on the ground that is unhealthy at the time (not that i ever played wow), Than the GPU could be the cause of the bottleneck. But also a few things to help, reduce your particle density and how far you can see.. Even in a raid, it can help.
First thing you honestly should do, is go see a doctor and see why your wrists are hurting, and see what they recommend.
I know i know i know, someone else saying go see a doctor, but there is so many different reasons a wrist would hurt, there is a chance it may not even be related to sitting in front of a computer...
You mean you think it might be 75%?
What you did was not wrong. Here is the sad truth, they sit in front of places like McDonalds a lot of times, and will try to get you to think they are going to get food from the location they are standing in front of. But sadly, they will get the money and go to the nearest liquor store or sadly, the nearest dealer.
Next time you run into something like this, instead of offering money, offer to get them a cheap burger or something, you will learn that most of them will pass up on the offer because that is not why they need the money.
So now that half the people on PCPP now think i am a butthole. Here is what i have did to help.
Several times i have offered to buy people like this food. Only about 1 out of 10 times have these people taken the offer (not because they are proud, because if they was proud, they would not be asking for money)
I spent time working in a soup kitchen down here where i live as well. That is honestly a very fulfilling experience. Fully thing is most the people i see beg for money are never at the soup kitchen.
I have been almost homeless myself, That just might be a story for a another time, and took me a long time to get back to where i was living comfortably. Others have helped me when was done as well, so i try to give back, but i am also very careful on how i do. I have even been helped out from someone here on pcpp. During the time i was trying to rebuild my life.
But i never once begged for money when i was down.
Karma can be a teacher, karma can also suck. But i think the fact that you are expressing that you feel bad about it really says a lot about your character.
I have this chair
I can talk from personal experience, as i am sitting in the Serta big and tall right now. I think i have had it for 6 months. It is used almost every day at work, for at least 7 hours a day, i have had no issues with it. The chair feels solid, that high back is really nice and does not give. I also lean back in it all the time, it feels solid when you do, and not like you are going to tip over. I a one inch spot where the stitching has started to come out of the one arm, but it is barely even noticeable . The hydraulic shock works well. I have the one that is on the second link, more costly, but pretty sure it is worth it. This is the best chair i ever bought.
One big con is that the controls for the chair sometimes dont stay in place, however that is a one second fix, and mainly the control to rock the chair back, the other one for height seems to always stay in place correctly.
i am at 255 pounds, and 6 feet tall even.
Retro_R as far as being butthurt... sorry had to. It has springs built in, with memory foam on top, it works really well. I have not felt butthurt since i got this chair.
Not really, the K threads came before the MSI thing, it was a select few people that pretty much did k threads, but because it was so often, it might of felt like a lot more than it really was.
The MSI competition was just crazy, and not related, it was a contest done by PCPP and MSI, but one person decided to announce that he would donate money to charity if he one, so people felt that was going to give him a unfair advantage, and then the shitstorm begin..
The K threads are one of the reasons there are rules listed at the top of the off topic forums
The winner of the MSI competition is now banned from the site... (someone has that has more first hand info can explain why on that)
The other thing about the MSI completion is people making accounts to upvote builds they wanted to win, like they tried to use VPNs and everything. It was a crazy time on PCPP
It was legendary
We do not speak of the K threads
Have you thought about maybe getting a snake, they dont require much attention, cheap to feed, and they will lovingly cuddle a rat every cuddle a weeks...
Its very nice. I see you took a little bit of my advice.
Overall it, it turned out pretty good.
just a word of advice, you dont have have a good reason to make a site, just get good at it, and later, you might be able to make money from it, and if you learn MySQL really good, you will open some big doors for yourself. I know very very very little about MySQL to be honest, just site design and stuff like that.
Good luck with your future websites. it can be a very fun and rewarding experience. But also can give you many headaches and hassles a long the way. However with me, that is part of the fun of it. I like to be challenged with certain parts of website design, so it helps me learn and better myself and makes me better at what i do. This is not the topic you posted your website on, if i would of thought about it, i would of added this comment to that topic, but i think both topics are pretty much targeting the same thing anyway.
no blackouts yet
As for fires, i almost had one, because of a lamp, but caught it just in time.
I thought this one time, and it ended up being my AC unit....
The AC unit is now replaced....
we both been around here for a while, we both know what is coming...
Its starting to get better with the long queue, at least on the server i am on. But that was a lot of fun, even at low levels, you feel like you earn your levels now. I was not there on launch day, but a few days after. Due to irl stuff, i have not been on there but a few minutes at a time, but i like it.
