we did let it die, But this topic is about "Glory Days" of OT. (2015-mid 2017) as stated by tiny_voices.
That was a fun time. All of those bans.
The fridge username thing
The K threads (i think the K threads is the reason for the off topic rules when you post topics now)
and of course The MSI contest.
Now you have three, good start
I feel a bit of a Star Wars vibe here. Not sure why.
you have over a 50% ratio, so that is really good. i have never even got over 50%
yours is 53%
It might be even a better question to ask about the Karma ratio.. I dont remember the formula for it. but i am sure one of these math people here could tell us.
I figured it out, (comment karma divided by comments) x 100 would give you your ratio
Nobody is touching your karma level for a long time
Unless that Karma store opens....
I hope they go easy on her, and she dont get any prison time.
1820 (48.75 ratio)
You seen Nothin....
You hear me, you seen nothin..
Just a short story, my GPS once took me to a gate with two armed guards, They was understanding, but i still dont know what that facility is did. According to the GPS, the road was supposed to go straight through.... it didn't.
This was the first thing that came to my mind to. I never even did anything like that.
Welcome to the forums, always good to see some fresh faces here.
You pretty much hit the nail on the head with that comment, and also what i a lot of us missile security guys was thinking as well. The physical and written training could be intense, However after the first year, it is pretty much a once a month refresher. But there was a lot of stress involved, but it was because of the politics of the job and the people you had to deal with, not the job itself. You had to know a lot, but after you learned it, it was pretty just part of the day to day process, and to be honest would get really boring. There was people who had it pretty hard, the ones that would have to stand for 12 hour shifts and watch over maintenance crews. Remember this is Wyoming, so having a day of 40 mile a hour winds and a wind chill of negative 40 was pretty normal. That will take a lot out of you. I was on what they called a fire team, so most of the day for me was just driving from silo to silo checking on them.
First i want to say your build looks awesome.
Seeing builds like this makes me want to learn how to do a custom loop, but i know i dont have the patience for it, and i would screw it up, so i am looking a AIO future.... SO much credit to you for making a custom loop look so nice
My biggest regret is also my biggest relief. It is hard to explain. But leaving the military and not attempting to do 20 years for retirement. The best day of my life was getting that DD214, but at the same time, looking back, it might of also been my biggest regret.
I had a decent job, and a outstanding schedule. I did ICBM security, i worked in the missile field for 3 and half days and would have 5 and half days off. They had what they called "training" and "commander option" days, but we might of did one of each, once a month and was out of the office by noon. Honestly, my job was to watch concrete slabs all day. Not a very hard job at all. we would just go silo to silo to check them out. Plus "nuclear security" is a great thing to put on a job app.
Nope, no fame in my tree
Internet is what i do for my job, it is what i do for a hobby.. SO i dont know what i would do without internet either, both my personal and work life would be much different.
You want to hear something ironic...
That is the chair i was talking about in my post, i just got it a few days ago, and omg everyone in my office loves it... they was like, you got this from walmart?
I am right around 270, and it feels rock solid.
It also looks really good behind my desk, i really should take some pictures
so if i get some rgb and tilting headrests, i should be able to hit another good 30 fps?
I also want to add as a seperate post, it is good that you feel comfortable posting about this here, it shows that you do feel trust in people here. Off topic has always been a very open forum for all of us to express yourself, and when we feel in need, we can come here,
You with this recent issue and even me when i had the major surgery on my face.
The support from the off topic crew is outstanding.
As someone who has dealt with and still does, i am truly sorry, it is hard to deal with personal mental health issues, and than see someone let the mental health issues take over and ultimately give up on life. As you know, that line between thinking about suicide and doing it is very thin, a lot of people do not understand how thin. One day, when i feel comfortable with my mental health issues, i will do a write up here myself. I am trying really hard to not add my own personal issues here, This is about you and your uncle. SO i hope he finds rest and happiness wherever he ends up.
how are me and you the two that always seem to be first with the gaming/office chair thing?
I have to agree with Vagabond139 on this. AGAIN.
I just bought a office chair, paid a good bit of money for it, and i am very happy with it, it is a Serta chair, and very nice, but you need to find a place and go and sit in some chairs to see what you like...
The cool and trendy "gaming" chair thing is just that. You will pay a lot less for a chair and be more happy with it, remember a chair is where you want to be comfortable, not "cool".
2 dollars and a piece of lint
never even visited 4chan, but heard plenty about it
There is a lot of complex reasons, but it is all rooted to one single thing
yep, but this could be even better, because private industry is involved. I am learned that when there is more people on the racetrack, coming in first means a lot more.
I have a lot of faith in my PCPP community, So i feel they will give you very good feedback with no bias.
How long did it take you to set up those links.....
completely understand, so easy to get those types mixed up
Not that kind of python.....
and still not a export.
I honestly agree and could not say it better myself, but the only thing i would add is; Remember, you are the one who is going to be looking at your PC everyday, so you should build it the way you want. If you like red and black (honestly i do myself) than you should build something around what you like. If you listen to Jon Doe down the street and they say, that red and black build is to common, you should do something like purple and pink, you will never be happy with your build because it is not what YOU WANT.
Snake on my old but still working (without service of course) Nokia
My spot at home is always kind of messy, however, i keep my office at work and vehicle very super clean and organized. IForgotMyPassWord might be on to something, because i do have social anxiety, i never really made that link before.
It is funny, i just had had this conversation with a coworker today, they said a youtuber bought this chair and they said it was great. I told them that more than likely they did not "buy" the chair, and they are better off going to the store and sitting on chairs until they find one they like. Plus i think i made a comment like yours a few times in the past about chairs. I bought gaming chairs, and never liked them, my favorite chair is one i bought from walmart for 109 dollars.
Rock, mainly 90s, and very early 2000s. It is hard for me to nail down artists or songs.
I will try to add more to this topic when i have a few to sit down. I dont say it much here, but you might of seen it in past comments that i have posted. I do have mental health issues, and i do see professionals about it.
The big thing to remember is when you do have issues like this, it is not a "one size fits all". Someone might give you advice but it might not work for you, however it is still worth a shot to try. But if you get advice and it dont work out, dont give up, just try to find answers. You also need to know, there is no "quick fix" you have to try different things and let your body adapt before you move on to something else. The big thing is to keep telling yourself DON'T GIVE UP. I can tell you this, other people can tell you this, but it won't matter until you can tell yourself that. Set personal goals as far as your mental health is concerned, like i said, this is something i did, but might not work for you. But it helped me focus on my goals, and less about my mental health, I think that is what helped me the most. This took years for me to figure out.
deleted comment just because it was fixed, maybe they was working on something... who knows.
i did what i could....... granted a used some upside down text website....
i will try better next time.

I know this sounds lame, but honestly, i just wanted to be a productive member of society. But i ended up just being a semi-productive member of PCPP
does my 2003 SUV count?

thank you, i have a thread up in off topic with pictures, but warning, it is not for people with a weak stomach. i had a hole in my nose the size of a quarter, and yes, you can see through the hole, and skin bridges and the whole 9 yards.
I recently had major surgery on my face, and it was suppose to be a simple cancer removal and skin graft... well..
I got carved up like a turkey
That is correct, but just like humans, you should be careful, some, even know it is rare, are moody little ********. But most all snakes are very easy to read.
