We went with the i7-9700, ASRock B365 Pro4, Intel 660p M2.2280 NVMe 1TB, Scythe Mugen5 rev. B and Corsair Carbide 275R. The case was really nice to work in and everything fired right up. My son is installing all of his programs now.
Thanks again for your help!
Nice job with the build. Very clean.
Thanks Robert, That is the type of info I am looking for.
Thanks Gil, I had not considered the 9700 until now. Another thing that I failed to consider is selling the 6500 and MB. That money could go to a better cooler or increasing SSD storage.
The "litlle" is in the title. LOL
Not sure. I have had the same issue with my Gigabyte board when cpu light is on. Reseating the ram always fixed it.
Try powering down and reseating your memory.
We can only hope it is chocolate. :)
Very well done!
So... where did you clip the anti static wrist strap during assembly?
RTCW is still the best FPS ever played.
"More than anything i'll ever need"
That is exactly what they told me when I bought my IBM Aptiva 166. I think I paid more than your current system... lol

Of course it matters. That is why there is a compatibility note.
Compatibility note: The motherboard M.2 slot #1 shares bandwidth with SATA 6.0 Gb/s ports. When the M.2 slot is populated, two SATA 6.0 Gb/s ports are disabled.
