After i did this color scheme in my h440 i noticed it became very popular.I updated my rig with the exact same processor/mobo combo several weeks ago. should hold up well
i had a set though and they weren't super comfy. ear cups are too shallow.
I love my h440. SLI/Crossfire looks so good in these.
Aww you stole my builds name :(
Personally, Im a gigabyte man. But good build, aside from the 4gb 760. The extra memory really doesnt help as much as buying the next level up in this case. I Understand it with the 770s, but thats a more powerful card, and it needs it to stay competitive. lol i run them in sli. How you liking the h440? i love mine.
Do yourself a favor and overclock the balls off that pentium.
Haha i can afford the mobo. ill buy my own.
Thanks. Im also a fan of the h440. I have sli 770s in mine. dual gpus looks sharp in that case. Good to see someone with similar taste
I was thinking of picking up the same cpu mobo config. how do you like it?
I dont think there is. You can hit me up on twitter though. http://twitter.com/God_of_Chuck
Thanks man. It takes a lot of work and money though. mines not quite where i want it to be yet. But its close. Hope you get to your dream pc soon though!
My recommendation would be get the best single gpu you can afford then buy a second one when you have the money again. its what worked for me. My only problem is im moving out of the 8350s league with the sli. i think my parents are getting me a 4790k for my birthday though. Thatll be nice.
haha I dont blame you. theyre pricey. Im running Sli 4gig 770s. it aint cheap.
I would've personally gone with a 4670k and used the money i saved to get a decent 760. A little bit more balanced. But nice.
Im not a fan of the red/black color scheme. I like the light blue on the asus board I have. The bios is screwy at times but i manage.
amds temp sensors are crap. my overclocked 8350 reads 8 degress on an h100i
That Psu is a bit overkill. You could have gotten slightly better ram for around the same price, and i would've held out on the ssd for a bit in favor of starting off with a better cpu. other than that its not too shabby for 800.
Oh yes, I absolutely love it. One of my better purchases.
Its alright. Not the best but good.
its kinda close, but should be fine.
Thats the only reason i got one.works for me though.
Those 290x cards are massive. Looks good though!
If i had to do it again id get a 780ti. and save to sli that. But these things kick *** honestly. 130+ Fps on bf4 on full settings.
Good to see fellow airforce on here!also good to see someone with that 4 gig 770! i have 2 of those in sli.
i pulled out the bottom trays anyways. but its super easy, and not an issue if youre only using one or two hdds. I added a 2nd 770 in sli. both fit fine. no clearance issues whatsoever
I think a 760t is overkill for this build. Its a good case but I wouldve gone cheaper and gotten a better gpu.
Even at this price range its just preference. Although a little higher and intel is the obvious choice. I run an 8350 and it treats me fine, even if it is the "weak" part of my rig.
Wow, Almost exactly how i would've done an 800 dollar build. Might have forsaken the SSD at first in favor of a better processor, but thats just preference. Nice.
Haha Amd temp sensors are way off on the low end. its closer to 22 most of the time. but thanks!
right? I love mine.
i have nearly the same build! i went little bit cheaper on the gpu and mobo, but i just got the same corsair fans and white sleeved cables. This is literally exactly what i wanted.
whoops. didnt see the keyboard monitor and mouse part. reattack finished. same link will work.
Try this. Itll play at more than normal settings though.
thanks for the +1 though!
It was an inside joke for a friend. lol. i know there's no way im hitting that on an h100i unless this thing is in a freezer. lol, it spikes randomly to a more accurate reading of about 25C.
A 6300 won't bottleneck a 760 though. So even though its a good idea, it isn't required.
I don't know why everyone ******* about AMD. Now I will concede that i think the 9590 is a bit of a black sheep, horribly hot and inefficient with no real place in the market right now. But the majority of AMDs processors are well priced and very competitive, especially if all you are doing is gaming. My rig has an 8350k. replaced my 3570k when i started streaming. I get the slightly better fps on most games while streaming, and its a cheaper processor.
3tb drives have sketch reliability to begin with. And Toshiba is pretty blah when it comes to HDD. That Kingston ssd is pretty screwy too. hyperx 3k is the only decent one they make. But i would've gone with Samsung. Good Mobo choice though. And there is nothing wrong with an 8320 either. just a down-clocked 8350. saved 50 bucks too. 660 is a bit weak these days though. and for that price you could root around for something better, or save a bit more money and go with a 760. A more solid case choice for that price is the nzxt 210 elite. I've worked with them before and they aren't to bad. I hear bad things about raidmax. Better than my first build though. keep on learning!
Ahh i see. Thanks. Thats something i figured was standardized.
see, ive seen people saying this, but isnt it supposed to be in the A1, B1 slots? or have i just been missing something.
I had an EVGA superclocked 660. It played most pre 2012 games on ultra, some newer releases at alright settings.its not super great.
well i had no trouble with my antec 1100. but that thing was retarded in a lot of other ways haha
Im surprised no ones mentioned the 20 gig xbox 360 gen 1 with the halo 2 faceplate. It brings back so many good memories. And I somehow lucked out of RROD.
It was just tight on the back end and hard to close the back panel. Nothing major. everything about this case is a breeze. lol i guess i made it out to be tougher than it actually was.
I had it that way, but it was bluescreening me. lol. that was my temporary solution.
