l2pTink3r's Completed Build: Seductively Revealing - Corsair Crystal 570X Enthusiast Gaming Build (With Build Timelapse)

Better than a Plain Visible white/green Seagate sticker?^ I took it off and asked the guy who I built for what he wanted :)

l2pTink3r's Completed Build: Entry Level Budget Gaming Build

l2pTink3r submitter 8 Builds 1 point 6 days ago

You're right, but I think I mention in enough in the description, what you should mix with what. Also I would say 2200g/570x is not REALLY layed out for GTA/BFA5, atleast on higher settings^

hey sorry for not replying, you probably dont need the advice anymore, but here I go: For the Liquid Cooler you would need a >Fan Header splitter and I dont think it has a direct Pump Header, you might wanna go for the MSI Gaming Plus which I used in this Build with the Sapphire RX580. It would also fit this build, but you wanna get 16 GB of RAM above 3000MHz!

Oh yeah that's very close to me, Man I'd wish Ryzen would have been out when I first build my own PC...but I might switch anyway in the next time, the i5 is always cracking up when editing by now xD

This is the Benchmark Video I did on it 2 years ago. I got a really got clock out of it, temperatures where always fine too with that beefy cooler, It hits 70C seldom, but Idles at 45C. It's not noisy at all, I rather hear my NZXT Aer Fans.

mhhh yes your right, but I have to admit, I'd pay 50 Bucks again everyday for the lit Backplate with the ROG Logo. Its simply the next level ^

l2pTink3r's Completed Build: Entry Level Budget Gaming Build

l2pTink3r submitter 8 Builds 0 points 1 month ago

Did I ever say it was a TRUE Budget build? As mentioned in the description, It's meant to be a budget build looking as clean as possible.

l2pTink3r's Completed Build: NZXT/Asus STRIX RGB Gaming Build with build Video. 2k19 Update!

l2pTink3r submitter 8 Builds 1 point 1 month ago

Because it's just the "update" about 1 1/2 generations for my current build, it's visually almost 100% the same though :)

l2pTink3r's Completed Build: NZXT/Asus STRIX RGB Gaming Build with build Video. 2k19 Update!

l2pTink3r submitter 8 Builds 1 point 1 month ago

Couldn't test it yet, but there shouldn't be any surprises: few more FPS and little better frametimes than a 580 and a little less Power consumption. I think the difference should fit the price of somewhat 40-60 bucks more

l2pTink3r's Completed Build: Entry Level Budget Gaming Build

l2pTink3r submitter 8 Builds 0 points 1 month ago

Well it's a budget build thats not supposed to look like a heap of ****, if you'd wanna go 100% Budget u wouldnt bother to get one at all I guess

yes and no, its the Wrath Spire LED, from a R7 1700. The cooler is pretty much the same, except for the RGB Strip.

l2pTink3r's Completed Build: Mid-Range Phanteks Eclipse P400 RGB Build!

l2pTink3r submitter 8 Builds 1 point 1 month ago

the motherboard is about 100€, in the Original red and black Build ive used the MSI Gaming Plus which is a little bit cheaper :)

l2pTink3r's Completed Build: Classy Red Gaming Rig in the Phanteks Eclipse P400 (With Build Video!!)

PCPP doesnt have the Wraith Spire LED to pick :/

l2pTink3r's Completed Build: Classy Red, Bang for the Buck Gaming Rig (with Video)!

l2pTink3r submitter 8 Builds 1 point 2 months ago

Of course it's good, especially for the price^ if you have any more money to spare, I'd go for an M.2 SSD instead, faster RAMs (maybe the Red 3000MHz Corsair Vengeance) and a RX590 or something faster, depending on how much you want to spend. The build as it stands will handle everything you throw at it really well in 1080p, and still good in 1440p :)

l2pTink3r's Completed Build: Classy Red, Bang for the Buck Gaming Rig (with Video)!

l2pTink3r submitter 8 Builds 1 point 2 months ago

Yes I think so too :)

l2pTink3r submitter 8 Builds 1 point 2 months ago

Cable management wasn't as much of a breeze as in my my NZXT S340 Elite, but it was still quite easy, theres quite a lot of room behind the MoBo an the back wall. Space behind the PCU could be better but it's alright for a case aof the size. Airflow is really straight through and good, but I'm not 100% sure how good it can breath through the front panel.

l2pTink3r submitter 8 Builds 1 point 3 months ago

Well, yes sure first of all if youre just looking for a gaming PC id definetly up the GPU to whatever fits your Budget. As well as maybe Upgrading to an i5 8600k if you want so. If you just wanna game an i5 is probably going to be more than enough :)

Seriously tight budget, had that one left, like the PSU and recycled it. Paid about 540€ for the whole Build.

l2pTink3r's Completed Build: (With Build Video!) Budget CAD Workstation in the Define Mini C!

l2pTink3r submitter 8 Builds 2 points 3 months ago

in the build itself ive used a PSU i still had lying around here as well as the SSD. I only had 500€ to work with, so i had to use what i had. The RAM is most likely going to be replaced in thecoming months :) was this time only about keeping it cheep and getting that R7 in there ^

no, not at all, but both, as all of those rgb programs are not what youd call terribly reliable ^

Hey, if i recall it properly, yes the X62 is plugged in the ROG_EXT. I was concerned about the lack of 2.0 on the board but google told me this would work and it actually did \o/ :D

Oh i believe that the 1080ti is fast as hell :3

On the custom sleeve, i think cablemod is pretty much the number one go to adress for that, you just have to check that the set fits your PSU.

In terms of keyboards... You might wanna get something that futs the other brands of your setup?! Just to be sure that configuring your RGB is not that much of a hassle because you have to use hundreds of different programs. Maybe you will find something that is Asus Aura compatible :) Anyway i think my go to choices atm would be the Razer Blackwidow (v2) or the corsair k95 platinum :D

Oh and one more thing about "Cable" management! In my case i used a ziptie to tie the rather long tubes of the Kraken to this Cable Hiding bridge, it does look a bit tidier that way, because the tubes stay next to each other^

masonbhd's Completed Build: First Intel Build RGB Style

l2pTink3r 8 Builds 2 points 22 months ago

Mhhh, yes i thought that as well about my s340 Elite, but now that I'm a bit used to it I think of it as much more aesthetically pleasing :) I Have the Kraken X62 and the long Tubes bend in an S shabe from the CPU to the radiator. Has a nice look to it IMO :3

Nice, build and cool stickers^ I've done a pretty similar build with almost the same speccs, but i chose the S340 Elite over the normal Version, nothing is as gorgeous as tempered glass <3

l2pTink3r's Completed Build: STRIX17: NZXT/ASUS themed RGB build (Build timelapse and Benchmarks)

l2pTink3r submitter 8 Builds 1 point 22 months ago

Hey, I think it looks pretty good, i'd still wait for the first tests of the Video Card :) But if that's the only card fitting your color scheme u might just wanna go for it. (Was the same for me). Just to inform you, the top exhaust of the case is 140mm and the rear is 120mm. I bought 2x 120mm Fans to keep it symmetric. About the RAM, I would suggest you to buy the 2400 or 3000 MHz versions, they have a lower latency than the 3200mhz version, which is far more important :D Also its a bit cheaper :D

Hey, if you want it simply for Gaming i would simply change the GPU and go for a 1080, like this: https://pcpartpicker.com/list/XHRW7h

And if you wanted to go for a more Content creation oriented build i'd go for this: https://pcpartpicker.com/list/9QGCvV

Because i didnt actually plan to get the monitor as well, and simply had no money left for a gtx 1070. And well... I think im going to upgrade in a year or two, until then its acutally doing well i guess ^

l2pTink3r's Completed Build: STRIX17

l2pTink3r submitter 8 Builds 1 point 22 months ago

hey, sorry forgot that pcpp does not send reply notifications. About the Benchmarks: in about 2 days the Benchmark Video will be finished :) ehm...about your problem...actually i would really recommend you to go for a Ryzen CPU, it's exactly perfect for your needs! In about 10 days the Ryzen 5 Mainstream Series Should Launch. You might get 5 FPS less in gaming, but its perfectly fitted for multitasking like Gaming and Streaming, as well as Editing and so on^

l2pTink3r's Completed Build: STRIX17

l2pTink3r submitter 8 Builds 1 point 22 months ago

hey, well, thats a bit tricky, i build it and deciding to go with an i5 for budget reasons...and well especially gaming ^ ehm, but pretty much after finishing the build i started to really get back into content creation...ups \o/ Anyway, i got benchmarks concerning overclocking, games and also content creation coming up^
