This build, and setup, is absolutely beautiful. Nice job man.
This is the 2nd Gigabyte motherboard I've used, and both have worked very well. So far, I haven't encountered any problems or bugs with the board or BIOS. To be completely honest, it was much easier than I anticipated to install the software. The bios automatically detected my RAM and boot drive and optimized both. The only issue I encountered was, after I installed Windows 10 I couldn't connect to the internet because it didn't have the correct driver. The driver I needed was on the disc that was supplied with the motherboard, but I didn't have an optical drive to read the DVD. It wasn't a big deal, I just got the driver from a different computer and installed via USB drive. From my personal experience I would recommend Gigabyte. Now, I haven't used MSI, but I almost got a MSI mobo because of the extra software they include for overclocking and other utilities. I don't know how Gigabye's software compares to MSI's, but from my experience and for what I need, Gigabyte's utilities and programs work well.
You think the 980 is the best choice? I'm saving up for a better card, and am seriously considering the 980.
Seriously, I have been getting as many hours as possible at work to fund this project! haha
I'll look into that, thanks!
