Been looking at the X9 case for a while now. This is the first time I've seen the glass panel switched to the other side. This would imply the side panels are interchangeable with little to no customizing, etc. - is that accurate?

I didn't see an answer for how you managed the rainbow power cables. Did you order different colored cables, remove the 'inserts', and re-combine them? If so, I only see a few different colors after a quick google search. I love the idea of doing something similar, like black, red, white or green, yellow, white. Please share!

As someone who's done some building but relatively new to PC building, this is just an amazing feat. Not many guys on here could do (what looks like MIG welding) AND build a desk like that AND build a kick @ss rig like that. Job very well done.

Nice rig! I love that mobo, nice design.

How do you like that Dell P24? Is that VESA-mountable?

Btw, go Sal!

Forget what anyone thinks man, this is a great looking rig. Love the RGB RAM, nice mobo, wish I had the $ for that GPU...

I had looked at this case before and now that I see your build, I think I'm sold! Price alert! Overall, this is a freaking nice looking build.

Question for you: is there any other way to mount the mobo? I ask because I was thinking of getting this case & buying RGB memory. However, there'd be no point of getting RGB memory if it's going to be blocked by the GPU. Thanks.

How do you install an optical drive for this case, or can you?

Man I have to stop looking at these $2000+ builds...makes me cry! Absolute beauty! I love the purple!

The i7 is great, the mobo...did you have problems with that? I just RMA'd my ASUS Z97E, garbage. Love the RAM choice, not sure about the ASUS graphics card...but that's because of my recent experience with ASUS.

This will be similar to my build once my wife lets me in about 2-3 years.

I need an upgrade for my monitor, but I don't think I can drop that kind of $ for one like yours. But good on you. Very cool build, happy gaming!

Dude. That MSI White Dragon. Looking real fine. Now I feel like I should have spent the extra $100 and gotten your CPU...nice job making me feel the envy!

I have the same exact mobo - do you like it with the i7-4790K? Just wondering. I'm not familiar with sapphire graphics cards - how's that working out? Interesting RAM setup :P

I got no complaints man. Nice build.

Nice build man, nice and clean. I'm curious: why did you decide to upgrade the CPU cooler to a $50 one when there are cheaper, but highly rated, coolers? Just wondering.

Otherwise, I like the price and the ability of this build. Very cool.

Holy smokes that's a nice build my friend. How do you like your motherboard? I've heard good and bad things about Gigabyte mobos. I am assuming it works pretty darn well.

Also - where did you get those red power cables? I. Must. Have.

Hey man, nice build. That freaking I/O shield is awful - totally agree. I haven't finished my build yet.

I'm glad you troubleshooted your comp because I am running into the same exact problem with trying to boot mine up. Nothing happens! I've tried adjusting, re-inserting - nothing.

Cheers.
