No pressure...i'm hardly using mine at the moment cuz i don't have the peripherals yet (gamer chair, mic, cam, "gaming" mouse & keyboard, etc) it was just the right time for me to purchase all the parts and put it together. I'm sure you'll find a good deal when you're ready...
This card will play any game at high frame rates on an ultrawide when the resolution is 1080p. There's only a handful of triple A titles out today that this card might not give you 60 FPS on ultra settings when the resolution is 1440p. (Metro: Exodus, for example) No regrAts...not even one letter ;)
Luckily, I don't have any fans in the top portion of my pc...cuz she's too darn cute to kick off.
I am gaming and editing videos on a 2560x1080p monitor. So far, I've only played The Witcher 3: Wild Hunt...but the 5700xt is able to crank between 60-100 FPS on ultra settings with hairworks on. Something my (2) nVidia 970's in SLI couldn't do. So, I'm mucho happy. :) (screen capture in pix)
Elegantly put, Robin...
Since this move has got the attention of pc enthusiasts around the world, I'm going to put the GPU in the top PCI slot, take a load of pix, and run it like I stole it :)
The GPU (Being a triple fan design) sits right on top of the fan, completely covering it...I'll take some close up pix tonight to better show what I mean.
It is connected but I'm not sure what software controls it...it's not a big deal and once I have time to sit and figure it out, I'm sure it's an ez fix.
Thanks...I'd like to thank the academy...
Once I can confirm that blocking the mobo fan is ok, I'll do just that
If it doesn't matter, why is it there? Shouldn't it be clear of obstructions?
This is the first time in over a year that I've seen a fake pc part picker post...I don't get what the point is?
he has a note that says he took the 1080ti out to benchmark his titan...I'm thinking this might be him trolling us unfortunately...
That would be nice...I'll be building a pc in the near future and that was my only concern with using that case...otherwise, it looks beautiful
Awesome looking pc...just wish that case had some sorta intake on the bottom or front...the gpu will hog all the intake airflow
I am peanut butter and jealous of this build....good job!
No...you wouldn't be able to swap your cpu out of your laptop...you'd have to take out the mobo with the cpu and put it in the chassis of your new console build
