if you got amd stuff just go to amd site and look for your drivers you will get chipset and ryzen master for ryzen cpus usualy which increases speed a little and makes overclocks easy

i said 3950x is top end and get a 3800x if you want strictly gaming and thats it but the 3900x is the sweet spot

also you can get a m.2 ssd in the place of the sata 250gb for the fastest posible boot time and put a second 4tb cable, this pc is overkill for gaming

also rtx 2080 ti is slitghtly faster but its 1200 dollars and the rx 5700 xt is 450, i tought of waiting for new gpus on the market to make that high core cpu struggle more

amd is always more for less money, there wasnt a real reason to buy intel from 2017, and back in 2012 too, but from like 2014 to 2017 amd didnt have money to manufacture so intel took control with the yearly new (the same) 4 core cpu slitghtly more overclocked, asus and msi are usualy the best at everything msi also having the cheap market

rx gpus are not 100% monitorizable my msi aferburner and i mean rx 480 and its derivates, sometimes my rx480 doesnt have good usage monitoring and the gpu is the bottleneck for me

you can go with the 18 cas, and if you want 16 cas look for it to not be 16 19 19 for example as that automates to 19

ram doesnt always have a very big impact but with ryzen it does id go with the tomahawk as a desktop doesnt need wifi most of the times especialy in games
