Thanks, the case compliments the theme. I initially decided to do a full AMD build with a freesync monitor. However, due to the mining craze that lasted a year, I wasn't able to grab a Vega 56 at a sane price. When I saw it for 499 last month, I just jumped on it and here I am. It's been treating me well so far. Haha.
Yeah, I'm enjoying the Vega 56. However, my current ultrawide monitor only goes up to 75 Hz. Too bad I'm over budget or I'd be looking for a 1440p ultrawide.
Thank you! I appreciate it.
Thank you! This case has plenty of air flow.
Regarding the cables, they're just the Phanteks PSU extension ones from Amazon.
Hard to say for sure.
Nope. I had to order the proper part on Newegg. I didn't have the patience to wait for Cryorig to send me one!
I love the STRAFE keyboard. +1
I love the blue and gold colors. Beautiful case! I thought about getting that one a few months ago to replace my Corsair Vengeance C70.
Thank you. I bought my RX 480 before the mining boom. I couldn't imagine budgeting for a GPU now. It's crazy.
Haha. I didn't notice that. It must be Fallout season again.
You have some beautiful builds, my friend. Nice work!
Barely. I have to turn the settings to ultra low.
Definitely. Once the prices decrease, of course!
I wouldn't say they're extremely loud. I've got the top two 140mm exhaust fans running at a lower RPM than all of the intakes so I imagine it would be a little bit on the positive side.
I only heard you one time.
This case had a bunch of fans pre-installed when I bought it. However, you can always add fans or change them out if you want. Make sure to note how many fan headers are on your motherboard. Otherwise, a fan controller would be needed (or fans directly connected to your PSU... but they'd run at 100% always and could be loud depending on the max RPM rating).
Thanks, man. I had to do something with the military green case.
Nice build. I have the STRAFE keyboard and love it.
Yes, the RAM is stable at 2400 with no problems.
I'm using the F6 bios that is available on Gigabyte's website here: http://www.gigabyte.us/Motherboard/GA-AB350-Gaming-3-rev-10#support-dl
No problems here!
Yes. I have them turned off now. The colors were too much of an eyesore to me after a while.
I can't get my 1700 stable over 3.75 GHz with the stock cooler... on a normal fan curve.
Nice build, btw. Very clean. +1
Nice build on a budget!
That CPU will be more than enough for gaming. I think there are reviews out now with benchmarks. Definitely a good choice.. it doesn't come with a CPU cooler, though.
Actually, I think I'm going to wait until Bethesda releases a GOTY version of the game. Which R5 are you looking to get?
Definitely. I appreciate it, man.
I bought the mini logo from a seller on Etsy and the larger one from eBay. Just type "vault tec decals" in Google and you can find a lot.
I'm actually looking into upgrading my RAM when Vega is released.
They're both SATA based so speeds are comparable. For instance, sequential speeds for the 850 EVO are ~445 MB/s vs ~401 MB/s for the SanDisk M.2
You wouldn't be able to tell the difference in real time.
I'm using the AMD Wraith Spire cooler that shipped with the 1700. What are you using?
It was during a flash sale on Amazon in early December. For the price, I couldn't pass it up!
Thanks, man. It's been running beautifully so far.
I was also thinking of getting that video card. Anyway, +1 on the Ryzen CPU/Radeon GPU build.
Nice build. Yeah, there's a strip of RGB lighting down the right hand side of the motherboard. Also, it has a bunch of cool options for changing the color and mode in the BIOS. I updated pictures of what mine looks like from the side panel (red on low illumination).
Nice build and awesome keyboard, btw.
I didn't like the color initially but it has grown on me. Also, my wallet enjoyed the 50% savings on it. lol
Sure. I don't have the game for PC but was eventually going to get it. This gives me an excuse, lol.
Much appreciated. Thanks!
Maybe, maybe not. Want to buy my 2400 and test it for science?
