I carried it over from my old build. I actually bought it around 9-10 months ago. So my logic was, I didn't buy it for this build. Same for my soundcard (bought that in 2010...holy sh....), monitor (2016 as well), speakers (2014 I think) and so on.

This is the cost I paid for the parts I bought.

Yeah, the case I could find here doesn't have a window but the version I have has a "open" roof. So you can see from the top, which makes sense when you consider the motherboard is mounted horizontal.

I need to take some more pics......
