I haven't had any issues and I've been running this guy for about 5 months now and have not had any issues. I've done some gaming on it but ran lots of stress tests when I first got it just to be sure.
I've done watercooling before and it just isnt my cup of tea. Having to do the maintenance and it didnt end up being really any quieter honestly.
Yeah just zipped to the frame.
I didnt even try. I had the 2600 out and was ready to re purpose it and didn't try the 3600 first. Sorry for no info on that.
I used Rustoleum Painter's Touch brand from Home Depot.
Specifically a white primer on the case itself (tan parts only) and then 'Ivory Silk' in Satin. Then for the brown I used the Primer 'Flat red.' Again didnt put the white primer on the brown parts.
The PSU is actually exhausting the heat and the 92mm fan is intake for that area.
Yeah that's what I was worried about. My new build has the sg13, but I'm going from an R5 on the floor so big change in accoustic department
how is the GPU fan noise. I was holding out for an AIB, but I really like the look of the reference.
This build looks great and pretty much mirrors what I have. How loud is the 5700 XT in the case?
I'm working on one right now. I'm working in a Silverstone SG13. So no window into the system, but honestly given how bad cable management will be likely for the better.
I know you posted quite a while ago, but do you have the matching Pantone colors by chance?
Yeah I'm worried cause I have the FTW3 and it's quite a bit I
Bigger than the regular 1080tis
Did you manage to get your FTW3 to fit. I'm looking at this case with this GPU.
Did you take off the fans of the GPU and just leave the heat sink?
I highly suggest the R5. I have a noctua D15 with my CPU and 1080ti FTW3 and i cannot hear it at all.
It was going to be a themed on the AWP skin from CSGO; however I just ran out of steam working on the hardware, and just wanted to spend all my time playing games.
Yup! In retrospect it just wasnt for me. I ended up replacing it with a Fractal Design R5 with no window. Now I just have a super quiet black box under my desk.
Looks really good, a little bit of cable extensions would go along way since those wires are front and center.
Could you link the covers you used for the cables for your SSDs? Your cable management is on point!
Your build is simply beautiful. By chance what chair is that? And are those Metal earth models?
This isnt real. The picture shows a custom loop and you listed a h115.
I'm thinking about doing it for my next build, good to know it wasnt too bad.
How did you end up deliding, razor or vice-tool?
