It's not possible for it to be 7.2C unless his room is 7.2C. I think AjKulikowski is right and it is an AMD error cause my processor reads very low (Like at 12C and the room is about 21C) in temp when idle.

I just bought the Cooler Master Hyper 212 EVO and have overclocked to a steady 4.2 GHz. The widgets are at http://addgadgets.com/gpu_meter/ and http://addgadgets.com/all_cpu_meter/

Edit: And thanks about the nice build part :)

On a budget this is great, I had to be on a budget for my PC too, although my school gave me Windows 8.1 for free. I don't know why you're getting so much hate though, I think the build is very reasonable (Although this is the perspective of a 16 year old). You got some pretty good deals for even squeezing in that monitor.

Definite +1

I agree, he isn't that great. But I definitely know that it's great info which kinda turns me away from a 3-way monitor setup in the future until the Game dev's decide to make it 3 FULL monitors.

Might I add this... http://youtu.be/Nfcic3whaHE?t=2m39s

If you listen to what he says, the game really only renders 2 monitors and stretches the screen on the left and right monitor.

So your FOV is really only 2 Times larger :P

Not arguing, just informing the un-informed.

That was actually what i planned to get and then I scavenged a few more dollars and got the 8320. I just got the Cooler Master Hyper 212 EVO and overclocked the CPU to the power of the 8350 (4 GHz)!

I should also include that if you plan to OC make sure you get a Great Mobo, I wish I chose a better one knowing that I wanted to OC a bit :/

Woah! Haven't seen many builds with this case! I love this case on my PC.

And for cooling I would say get a Cooler Master Hyper 212 EVO, I just bought it 2 weeks ago and it has lowered my temps by a lot considering I also have the same processor.

I really like this build but it's probably cause mine is literally the same thing when it comes to the parts haha. Good job with that budget too, I couldn't manage to fit an SSD into my budget :(

Also if your CPU runs that hot when Idle you should get more case fans or get a better cooler.

Someone will eventually say this but I'll be the first, your RAM is in the wrong slots. Move your sticks to the Blue Slots, the manual says that's how to do Dual Channel.

After that, I really like this, I have the FX 8320 and will be overclocking it to make it the 8350. I also have a GTX 760 and love that too so this build is a bit more than mine but, hey I'm only 16 :P

And I know that 4670k will handle ANYTHING you throw at it, it is a monster of a CPU! Also, the cooler that I recommend for you if you're looking on the cheaper end I would rather go with the Hyper 212 EVO, it's great for overclocking and the 4670k doesn't have a lot of heat issues like Ivy and Sandy Bridge did. Good luck on this build, I would love to check it out once it's finished!

Just to let you know that isn't so accurate, sure it shows what it could be at max load but that doesn't include any overclocking, just something to look out for, overall i really like it compared to mine although i have a lower motherboard and the FX 8320 in my build.

If I were him I'd love that for Minecraft and all. I'm 16 so I play minecraft here and there with a few mods, not that your son would or wouldn't know them they can have your PC run the game in Multi-Core mode rather than in Single core mode. The mod for that is called Optifine, it lets you tweak the game a bit and get the best performance you can. Not sure how old he is but tell him I said Congrats to winning the spelling bee, that's a great accomplishment and he should be proud!

Well that's what a backup is for :) he can make a backup on the HDD, unless all 3 drives die at one time, that's a bit misfortunate then but also a bit impractical.

Are those SSD's in a RAID 0? If not, I really recommend it because it will be double the read AND write speeds. Even though they're fast enough already it would still be crazy fast!
