I haven't started the build yet, but now that I think about it, a dual fan kraken isn't necessary for cooling the APU. Also, this is for mediocre gaming, with games like SC2 and CSGO in mind. If one were to use a small PC for productivity, I'd get an i5 6400t and a compatable mini itx mobo. A hard shell backpack would be necessary and I like the idea of fans on both sides is great. I do want to start this build soon, but I am waiting for a newer apu from AMD for better performance with the release of Zen. I am glad this build inspired you though.
Wow. That's really aesthetic.
You got a nice OC on that CPU, a really nice one.
I love the contrast, it was well executed.

Great job flashing that bios. I really like how amd turns a blind eye and allows the consumer to push their hardware to the max.
That's really aesthetic. Beatuiful and glorious, especially with a $250 r9 fury
I still have one of my computers with one of these at 5.4 I think.
Oh god, that's really aesthetic. Hope you oc that sumbitch super hard.
You what they say... MORE PICTURES PLEEEEESEEEE
This build might be for editing, as the large amount of storage, the multiple monitors, and the overkill cpu were picked. Granted this might not game well, it sure could edit.
I sure miss bclk overclocking.
My jaw dropped when I saw the thumbnail to your build. Pretty sick looking!!
On my brother's 8350, it stays at about 70C with a 4.1 ghz overclock. I would probably get something else if a serious overclock were to be applied.
Nasa wants their computer back.
That K|NGP|N card reminds me of old times. Good card still.
I hope he gets that new i7 soon.
No, but I'm sure the real one responds sometimes.
no, but he might respond here.
Yup. Nvidia wanted to glorify the 1080 more probably.
Nvidia is secretly leaving "older" cards out of a few optimization patches. I don't like being pushed to upgrade from maxwell to pascal, but I think I might actually have to before support is cut off, although ridiculous for 1gen old cards to be cut off.
Groovy man. Just Groovy.

Yeah, just found out about the posiden card lineup, thanks!
It's pretty sick how he was able to keep the fans on, along with a waterblock for that super sick look. And he hard-tubed it!
Looks pretty sick with the white and blue!
sorry. take my +1
Sick ssds man! Intel's ssd's are by far the most reliable nowadays with all the shady nand's going around.
I t ' s a l l i n y o u r h e a d .
That setup is straight up sick looking. I'm not even going to question the cpu.
I wish that the ASUS DUAL series gpu's would come with a backplate. Now that I think about it, all gpu's should come with a backplate. Great build still.
sick aesthetics man
Nice job fitting a custom loop in an itx! Now I know you didn't hardline it, but your tube pathing is pretty good.
That is one sick battlestation!!
It's about a gtx 730, it can go high in 720p but is pretty marginal in 1080p
It's a competent 1440p card that works well for small cases. It's almost a mini r9 fury.
I'd get a 1070 with your build. I can't really justify near-doubling the price of the 1070 for a 1080, without the performance to match it. The 1070 is a very competent card right now capable of 1440p and some 4k.
I almost got triggered at your comment.
Higher ram speeds, not dumpy-looking, and overall more features, including a bios crack on certain boards to OC a non-k cpu.
If a game is cpu-bound, then you are not bottlenecking the graphics card, you are rather getting lower framerates due to your cpu then.
I doubt that the 4690k is not capable enough to run a 1080. The gpu will be fully utilized for sure, as nearly any desktop i5 at or above 3rd gen (better architecture) will not "bottleneck" per se, any graphics card on the market.
sick. a /b/ro
r9 fury x's are running at around 4400 nowadays, and are watercooled. Give one a shot
that's a top kek
That's some sick, sick aesthetics you have there, as well as a great deal on the ssd and gpu's.
