Well, it would create a positive airflow and your cpu temps will improve. As it is now your fans a choking since they are pulling the air from the case

Thank you for your response.

The seller already discounted 60$ so this is the lowest he will go for the i7.

I thought to get an i3 and buy an ssd to make it a bit faster. With i3 I can stay under my 200$ budget for everything. i7 will cost me over 300$

Thank you everyone for your responses. I checked my Activity monitor for the past 4 hours and I only used 2.3 GB of data. 1Tb should be more than enough for me since I live by myself.

I ordered MSI RX 470 Armor for 149$. I will give AMD another chance. if it's gonna crash again , then I will go for 1050 or 1050ti

Comment reply on Forum Topic "gtx 950 vs gtx 1050"

That is what i thought and why i bought this RX 460 for $80

Currently my fps drops from 100 to 5 in cs:go which makes it unplayble. In dota 2 i get 45 fps on avarage.

When i was using my GTX 950 i had 120 avarage in CS GO and around 85 in Dota 2

i will start looking for 1050ti then. Thank you for your help

Comment reply on Forum Topic "gtx 950 vs gtx 1050"

  • 1 point

Thank you for your reply. the only reason I was worried about the 6 pin is that my previous GTX 950 had 6 pin and this RX 460 does not. Roughly they suppose be the same in terms of power . Snce the rx 460 performs terribly, i am assuming that 6 pin helps to improve performance.

In regard of 1050ti, I only consider GPUs with 2 fans for the quite performance. 2 fan 1050ti cost $30-$40 more

I cleared it and reinstalled, Still the same:(

I guess i will return it. I paid 80$ and after rebate it would have been $60. really good deal

yes. dota 2 plays fine I get around 60 fps on 1440p. Cs go lags big time
