ive had it go to 15gb b4. usually not very often. try having 3 videos playing. start playing a game. and a virus scan going on all at once lol. just wondering if u had any lag issues with it at all. :) 60 fps on ultra thats great.grats, whats temps?
nice budget build, what kinda fps are u getting? and is 8gb enough ram usually, or does ur pc bluescreen ever? I noticed my build that has 16gb of ram goes over 8gb every now and again. usually at about 6-7gb
Or maybe utilize your current monitor and get a second 4 screen wrap. Pascal works well with that ive read
gtx 1070 sli bench puts unigen heaven 4k at 70fps, so for sli optimized games would b perfect if not a little overkill for 60hz
I agree. or 4k
H60 by corsair (its in push/pull config as exhaust out the back) it was left over from a previous build. funny story. I ordered a replacement fan for it, and just added it to the setup. lulz
no don't get the rog. get the dell version its the exact same and cost less. idk if I can give up 1ms
side note here, i7 6700k overclocks really easily and I have mine at 1.4v and 4.6ghz on a h60 temps never over 79c
wtb driver updates NVIDIA!!!!
you sir earned my +1 with that comment
its water cooled?
better safe then sorry
great monitor I have the dell version of this and love it works great. gtx 1080 pushes overwatch 144fps everything maxed but render scaling is 100% at 1440p I have the same setup minus water cooling, and in a corsair 750d. those temps are scary. pascal and skylake have low tdp wondering if ur fan curves changed with the updates maybe?
type "user account control" in search bar in windows. slide down to never notify me when I install apps
you don't need 2 cards to run ow at 1440p, unless u are at above 100% render scale, or 4k res. I get 144fps easy max setting 1440p 100% render. g-force experience makes me run at 100% render, and 4k res. I get about 80 fps. good for g-sync at that low frame rate I suppose. awesome build I cant wait to add a second gpu, just for fun though. and to see what it can do ;) (and to water cool them of course). I like that you went with gpu>rad>cpu>rad. configuration the only smart logical way of doing a water cooling loop.
great cable management I like the idea you had with the front audio cable looping it around the back of the mobo
pascal only allows for 2 way sli anyways
yeah I know every little bit helps. goodluck
Great psu for a low air flow situation. hardly ever even runs I bet
thanks for the reply, yeah I just figured since that was something that had happened to me recently, I would give u some input. nice job on everything else. I like the case fans all upgraded from stock, looks cool...changing the fan curves does make it louder so I didn't know if that's what you were trying to avoid or not. I had a heat issue that caused heat distortion in game with some flickering and patching, followed by a 50% thermal throttling. mine was I think up to 82 degrees Celsius . notice fan was only like 30%
Nice build man. try checking the fan curves. mine stock wouldn't cool it effectively. changed them to reach 100% at about 70 degrees. if they are custom make sure the are reaching 100% 80 seems a bit to high to be running games. might run a little louder but at least you wont get any heat distortion and extend the life of them.
