Description

Through a bit of patience and bad decision making, I was able to piece together a build I've been wanting to do for quite some time.

I do want an m.2 nvme at some point, but I can survive on this as the only things recycled from my last build are my storage devices, which are between 8 and 6 years old.

I also bought a white sleeve for cable management because I don't like the eye sore and it's really difficult to hide cables with a wire/glass desk.

Let me know what you think!

Squargb! I definitely recommend them if you can stomach the price, they move air like crazy and are beautiful, even when mounted for intake!

Nice build, and if you don't mind me asking, where did you get that desk from?

OfficeMax about 8 years ago. I'm sure they still have something equivalent!

That aio is hot bruh I always liked the aquafusion because of the unique fan design I just think that looks really cool

Yeah I loved the fan design from the pictures, was a little concerned that I wouldn't like the block but when it's all together it's really pretty.

The fans move some serious air too. I plan on buying 2 more just to equalize the air flow

Will I have to buy the 2 extra fans for much better air flow for the 2070 super? I’m just wondering because this is my first time doing this and I have no idea how to mount fans and set them up for exhaust and intake.

Assuming you have good air flow in the case you shouldn't have to worry about the 2070 super. Mine doesn't really go over 70 degrees under load so far with how I have it set up.

Modern fans usually have arrows for you to indicate air flow. Just keep it simple and in from the front, and put the back and top

I get a warning with this case and motherboard combo.

Note:NZXT H510 ATX Mid Tower Case has a front panel USB 3.2 Gen 2 Type C port, but the MSI B450 TOMAHAWK MAX ATX AM4 Motherboard does not have sufficient USB 3.2 Gen 2 or Gen 1 headers. The case USB 3.2 Gen 2 Type C port will not be usable.

Do you have this issue?

evopb

It is not usable no. If that is important to you then I would find another board

why did you buy an enermax aio they will gunk up in the block, anyways thats a really nice and clean build

evopb
  • 4 years 10 months ago

I'm fairly certain them issues were isolated to the liqmax coolers. I could be wrong, but so far it keeps it at 31 degrees idle at 74 degree ambient. Only way I got the Ryzen to stay at a stable temp is on power save though, otherwise it's hanging at 35 to upper 40s on max performance idle
